I've been bragging a lot about how good my son's baseball team is, so now that we have finally experienced the agony of defeat I need to be gracious in defeat.
We lost for the first time all season in the city championship, it was heartbreaking to see the kids hanging their heads after a tough loss. But they really did a great job and were excited to get their 2nd place trophies. I actually think it was harder on the parents, I think we all learned some important life lessons last night.
All in all Congratulations to the 2008 National League Cardinals.
